水晶吊燈具有深邃的複雜與純粹性，一般人可能無法看出 MV 中少女的表演和希雅的歌詞表面下的意義。MV 中安排的每一個動作和場景都有意味在，每個房間暗示著童年不同的成長階段，少女舞蹈中經常撫摸肚子等各種古怪的動作、異常的後退遠離、踢腿、瘋狂的樣子的眼神、抓頭髮、床、沙發、跳躍、搖頭、甩晃、裸體般的肉色衣服、牆上難看的畫、黑暗斑剝的場景等等都暗示著家暴、虐待、痛苦等類似意味，窗邊表示希望與救贖，還有明顯指責和多次告別，而且許多熟練的舞姿和異常神態到最後片尾有如大法師那些恐怖片中惡魔上身蜘蛛走路的動作也是高難度的考驗動作。

聽說這是希雅本人在歷經男友離開人間與工作低潮期的真實寫照，所以水晶吊燈唱起來特別有那種發自內心並唱到人心坎裡的那種感覺，滄桑中帶有爆發力又有靈性，和流行樂界大部份天后級的人物有很大的差異，深度力度遠勝過所有只想紅的靠甜聲、外在、炒作吃飯的明星。收錄水晶吊燈（Chandelier）的專輯一千種恐懼（1000 Forms of Fear）在在澳洲拿到了雙白金唱片的肯定，美國最有公信力的 Billboard（告示牌排行榜）拿到了冠軍寶座。
